Though they appear to be very simple, SAP Webi Dashboards actually provide powerful, cross-enterprise views of vital business information.  For example, they can allow you compare the FLC rates for individual consultants as well as teams of consultants.

 

However, in order to construct these dashboards, solid design standards must be established and a SAP Webi template must be provided by your SAP Webi Consultants that all can agree upon. 

 

Fortunately, we have one for you to use which was recently used in a live SAP project environment.  You can download it, and we encourage you to share it.

What are the keys to an effective SAP Webi Template:

 

These are, of course, just our recommended minimum number of fields.  Your particular requirements may require more or less information. 

 

We also recommend that you use this design document to prepare your Webi Dashboard testing plan.  It is absolutely critical to ensure that you have traceability of all requirements, both technical and functional, from back-to-front on your project.
