Hi Fellow SAP BW Consultants
Today will be a short one as I just wanted to share a template that SAP doesn't seem to provide, although they provide a picture of it.
This is a SAP BW Infocube/Query Design Template based on excel. I could not find it on SDN nor out there on the web anywhere, so had to create it on my own. It helps when you finalize your InfoCube/Query design requirements specification.
Would be interested in knowing if anybody , perhaps someone from another SAP Partner, has used this or has a better one to share. I recently had a chance to use this to convert a data model based on Oracle Express into a SAP BW Data Model and seemed to work fine, though need to work on the Hierarchy Design part a little bit more than data governance.
My plan is to make a video of taking business content and actually completing one of these to see if it is really helpful in the build process. It should reduce the risk considerably of a bad build.
