Job Summary

Responsible for directing all activities of IT support to Operations and Quality functions including manufacturing, sourcing, warehouse, planning, manufacturing quality and regulatory. Provides strategic leadership, and directs resources to support the enterprise business goals. Partners with the Operations and Quality organizations to align IT projects and initiatives with the overall business strategy. Oversee technology purchases and services provided to internal Operations and Quality customers.

Responsible for delivering solid business results through a capable team of IT professionals, holding directors and managers accountable for acquiring, building, supporting and inspiring high-performing and highly engaged talent.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with key business and IT leaders to develop and lead strategic integration of data and platforms across operations and quality functional areas to ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness. 


Provide thought leadership and bring best practices to global operations and quality solutions.
Serve as a key leader in the strategic planning process to ensure alignment between business priorities and IT

Operations/Quality projects.

Provide day to day oversight of the company’s portfolio of IT Operations and Quality projects, ensuring on-time/on-budget delivery of new projects as well as ensuring applications SLA’s are met

Recruits, develops, and retains (employee engagement, culture shaping, etc.) IT managers and individual contributors; sponsors and facilitates career/professional development of IT talent.

Leads and inspires others to deliver superior customer-oriented results (i.e. on time, budget, and with quality) while living the Company values.

Ensure effective IT Operations and Quality integration for all Mergers and Acquisitions

Expected Areas of Competence

  •          Strong understanding of business operations and quality IT applications, infrastructure and respective support. 
  •          Ability to build positive relationships across multiple stakeholders: senior leadership team, department heads, etc.
  •          Communicates with positive impact: excellent team leadership, business partnership, negotiation, etc.
  •          Clear and agile thinking and analysis that leads to win-win and innovative solutions while delivering on-time and on budget

Education/Experience Requirements

  •          Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field with 14+ years of relevant work experience, OR
  •          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field with 16+ years of relevant work experience, 

Travel Requirements

  •          Up to 50%
